Property Shop – Resident Partner

bs_picBrian Sutton has recently been appointed as the resident partner in James & George Collie’s estate agency/property shop at 220 Union Street, Aberdeen.  Brian has been with James & George Collie since 2008 having previously built up a wealth of experience in the local property market by specialising in residential purchases and sales as a partner in a large law/estate agency practice based in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.  Brian also made a guest appearance at the end of the last year on the BBC programme “Escape to the Country”. The Bribery Act 2010

bribeThe Bribery Act 2010 (“the Act”) has been devised to codify and clarify the offences of bribery in the United Kingdom which traditionally have existed under the common law. The Act was due to be enforced from April 2011 but is currently under review by the government. It is expected that the Act will be brought into force but this may follow considerable revisions of the current provisions. (more…)
